kids ages 7–10

NOON
This fun, hands-on workshop
promotes environmental awareness
and the importance of water
conservation. In each 2 hour
program kids will:

Tour the Casa’s Butterfly
garden using a magnifying
glass to identify insects
• Tour the Casa’s
Native American garden
learning how to identify
water-wise plants and
herbs
• Learn how to read a
seed packet
• Make an eco-friendly
Flat Tire pot
• Plant their own
succulent into their pot to
take home
Families
are encouraged to stay and bring
lunch to eat outside on the ocean
bluff or in the amphitheater
after class.
