CASA On October 7th,
László Mezõ
of the Pacific Symphony performed
to a sold-out house in the
beautiful Main Salon of Casa
Romantica. Accompanied by pianist
Steven Vanhauwaert, Mezõ
performed a

mesmerizing
program of works: Zoltan Kodaly
Solo sonata for cello Op. 8,
Debussy Sonata for cello and
piano in D-minor; David Popper
Suite for cello and piano Op.69.
The intimate performance was
breathtaking, the acoustics
afforded by the stunning Spanish
Colonial architecture,
perfect.

COFFEE TABLE BOOK AVAILABLE "SAN
CLEMENTE, SPANISH VILLAGE BY THE
SEA" The wonderful coffee table book entitled
San Clemente, Spanish Village by the
Sea will be on sale at Casa
Romantica throughout the year. Created by
the Chamber of Commerce and the San
Clemente Heritage Foundation, the book is
a beautiful photographic and artistic
journal of scenes from San Clemente,
compiled from the works of local artists
and photographers. Proceeds from the sale
of the book benefit Casa Romantica. Cost $65
