Casa Romantica was recently awarded the honor ‘Best Place To See Site-Specific Art’ in OC Weekly’s annual “Best of OC” contest. The editors wrote that “the most thrilling work at 1927 Spanish Revival Casa Romantica is created specifically for its every nook and cranny” and advised readers: “Casa Romantica’s site-specific commissioned pieces are the treasures of its ever-growing cultural programming, which seems to double every season.”
OC Weekly covered both the Contemporary Dance Collective showcase (a walkable experience throughout Casa Romantica’s architecture and gardens to sample performances from LA and OC’s top companies) and the Rebecca Louise Law exhibition (an installation art piece comprised of 8,000 blooms grown in and near the Casa Romantica Gardens) in 2017.
