We have loved seeing the creative ways couples have said “I do” during these challenging times, and we are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to resume weddings at Casa Romantica. In the meantime, we want to take a look back at some of our favorite designs, styles, and wedding moments over the last year.
From centerpieces to aisle decor to ceremony arches, bold colors made a huge debut in 2019! Traditional, muted colors took a backseat to pops of purple, fuchsia, orange, and red. We also loved seeing the surprising use of fresh fruit alongside beautiful blooms as table decor.
Structured bouquets and centerpieces were outdone by wild, “free flowing”, eye catching displays. Various shapes, textures, and floral varieties harmoniously came together to create a perfectly imperfect backdrop.
Tall, over-the-top centerpieces also made a big impact in 2019. The mix of heights and styles make each table feel one-of-a-kind.
It can be difficult to creatively incorporate the style of your venue into your wedding decor. With numerous styles of encaustic tile throughout the Casa Romantica grounds, it’s easy to draw inspiration from the beautiful colors.
It’s hard to compete with a bouquet that looks like it was freshly picked from a field of wildflowers. These eye-catching creations are a breath of fresh air from the traditional, perfectly put together designs we have seen for so many years.
We’ve noticed a refreshing trend in recent years with weddings taking a more casual approach to seating. Cocktail tables are being replaced with cozy lounge areas for guests to relax and catch their breath off the dance floor. With stunning views of the Pacific, it’s no surprise that guests want to sit back and catch the gorgeous sunset from our Ocean Terrace.
We hope that you felt inspired by these fun, refreshing ideas for your future wedding. We look forward to celebrating with you all again very soon!
