San Clemente, CA – Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, a nonprofit southern California cultural center, announces the lineup for the Casa Kids Concert Series in the Casa Captivating 2021-22 season. These performances are paired with Casa Romantica’s brand new thematic Connections programming, which pairs a cluster of events to specific themes such as Celebrating Chinese New Year and Art in the Gardens. All performances take place in Casa Romantica’s outdoor Redmond Amphitheater, which is uniquely situated on a bluff overlooking the beach.
All of the performances for the Casa Kids Concert Series are included with general admission ($5 for ages 13 and up; FREE for children age 12 and under) to Casa Romantica, making it an affordable cultural experience for the entire family.

Description: Part of the expanded Casa Jazz Series. Jazzy Ash and the Leaping Lizards performs New Orleans jazz and educates young audiences on the genre. They have performed at numerous venues including Lincoln Center and Sprout Network (NBC), produced five albums, and have been featured by NPR and LA Times.
Pacific Trio: Music of China

The L.A. Troupe: Alice in Wonderland

Description: Part of the Art in the Gardens Program. The L.A. Troupe, theatre-in-education is a classical theatre company touring sites throughout Southern California with assembly-style productions, residencies, and workshops. Join them for a family-friendly performance of Alice in Wonderland.

Casa Romantica also hosts a variety of free arts education programs for children year-round. The institution’s annual Casa Romantica Music Festival and Academy has received critical praise for its comprehensive two-week music studies program in cello, piano, viola, and violin. Casa Romantica also offers a Summer Dance Workshop, a Spring Break Arts Week, various art, literature, and horticulture events to grades K-12, and welcomes over 6,000 children from the Capistrano Unified School District each year for STEAM-based field trips that examine the history of San Clemente and the coastal environment.
