Yoshika Masuda and Taso Comanescu

This event will be postponed to a different date in the future.

Performing music by Schubert, de Falla, and Piazzolla, Yoshika Masuda and Taso Comanescu takes the audience on a journey from early 19th century Europe with Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata to the smokey bars in Argentina with Piazzolla’s Histoire du Tango.

Described by the press as “a remarkable cellist who possesses both intellect and innate musicality… one of the finest cellists of his generation” (Chopin Magazine Japan), Japanese cellist Yoshika Masuda has performed throughout the world as a soloist and chamber musician.  An in-demand solo performer, ensemble artist, and instructor, American guitarist Taso Comanescu, is a performer with a reputation for nuance and strong musicianship. These two musicians bring together a variety of repertoire that creatively captures audiences through this innovative pairing of instruments.
