About Casa Romantica

Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is a vibrant hub for arts, history, and culture in San Clemente, CA. Nestled in a beautiful 1927 Spanish Colonial Revival building owned by the city of San Clemente, we offer a dynamic space where visitors of all ages can explore a variety of cultural experiences. Casa Romantica fosters creativity, celebrates local history, and engages the community through year-round activities. Our beautiful gardens, historical exhibits, and engaging events provide a welcoming atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
Casa Romantica also hosts a variety of free arts education programs for children year-round. The institution hosts youth peformance groups, performing arts camps, as well as various art, and music events for children, and welcomes students from the Capistrano Unified School District each year for STEAM-based field trips that examine the history of San Clemente and the coastal environment.

Mission Statement

The Mission of Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is to provide cultural programs for all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities with a special emphasis in celebrating and inspiring the artistic, musical, historical, literary, and horticultural aspects of California. We strive to serve our greater community and beyond.
