Introducing our BRAND NEW Casa Kids Summer Programs for 2023! Casa Romantica is always looking to match our offerings based on what is needed in the community, and our new programming will better support even more children in the arts. We’ve divided our programs into 3 separate categories based on 3 groups of kids: beginners looking for an introduction to the arts; serious dancers looking to major in dance in college; and serious musicians looking to master their instrument. As always, our programming for children remains completely FREE.
The new format of our Summer Camp is an introduction to dancing, singing, and visual arts for children ages 7-10 with professionals in Orange County. This program will include 3 hours of instruction on Mondays for 4 weeks. There will be 1 session this Summer on June 5-26.
Casa Romantica is building a connection between college dance departments and high school student dancers. The 3-day program consists of masterclasses for serious high school dancers looking to major in dance in college. Multiple schools will be represented including UCI, CSUF, and IVC. This program will take place August 21-23 from 4-7 PM nightly.
A classical music ensemble for serious musicians ages 13-17 with performance and competition opportunities. Free masterclasses will be held in July with auditions and ensemble practices begin in October. To qualify for this program you must have at least 3 years of prior instruction, participate in our masterclass series, and pass our audition requirements. This program takes place July 10-19 from 4-7 PM nightly.
All programs are free due to our generous underwriters, grants, and endowments to ensure every child in our community receives access to our Summer art programs.
