Casa Romantica was excited to host its Bee’s Knees: 90th Birthday Bash as part of its D. Yoder Family Sunday series on September 3, 2017.
Guests received an experience to remember, as they arrived in 1920s attire, were greeted at the door by Ole and Nellie Hanson look-alikes with “Happy 90th Birthday Casa Romantica” buttons, engaged in 1920s family-fun games, ate birthday cake, and were serenaded by the Happiness Band.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of a dedication certificate by California Assemblyman Bill Brough from the Office of Senator Bates, recognizing Casa Romantica as an historic landmark, and commemorating the founding of the institution by Ole Hanson in 1927.
Casa Romantica is proud to announce that its Bee’s Knees: 90th Birthday Bash received extremely positive feedback from the community. Details from the celebration have been featured in the Orange County Register.
