Youth Chamber Music Program

Are you a high school student looking to expand your knowledge of classical music performance? The Casa Romantica Youth Chamber Music Program is the perfect match for students looking to learn more about performing in a small group setting similar to college ensembles.

Students practice weekly on Mondays from 5:00-6:30 PM at Casa Romantica with instruction from two professional chamber musicians.

The Casa Romantica Youth Chamber Music Program will receive professional performance experience by performing throughout the community and at Casa Romantica events.

    Adriana Triggs, violin

    Adriana Triggs is founder and violinist of Romantica Piano Quartet, Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens’ first chamber music ensemble in residence. She has had the pleasure of playing in such groups as the Mozart Classical Orchestra, Pacific Symphony, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Los Angeles Chamber Choir, Musishare Chamber Players, Golden State Pops Orchestra, Sinfonia at the prestigious Aspen Music Festival, Blackbird Music Project and others. She has served as a guest artist faculty member at the Orange County Youth Symphony Orchestra and taught at The Orange County High School of the Arts. Most of her time is spent teaching her private violin students from her home studio in Mission Viejo, CA. She teaches students of all ages and levels from the Capistrano, Saddleback, and Irvine Unified School Districts. Her students have gone off to major in Violin Performance, have been accepted to the Orange County High School of the Arts and have also been accepted to the following performing groups: Orange County Youth Symphony, Musishare Young Artists Program Quartet Initiative, Casa Romantica Youth Chamber Music Program, Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings, Prelude Chamber Strings, Southern California Youth Philharmonic, CYOSC, Capistrano Unified School Districts Honor Orchestras and Irvine Unified School District Honor Orchestras.

    Kevin Garnica, piano

    Kevin Garnica is an active musician based in Los Angeles. He is the pianist in the Romantica Piano  Quartet, Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens’ first chamber music ensemble in residence. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed in Central and South America, Europe, and throughout the United States. Garnica received his Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Texas at Austin with a full assistantship under the tutelage of Anne Epperson, specializing in Collaborative Piano. Garnica was one of the youngest ever winners of the ASCAP Composition Competition when his piano piece, Sonata for Scriabin, was chosen from over five hundred entries.
    Kevin Garnica has performed with members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, including Concertmaster Martin Chalifour, the Pacific Symphony, The Metropolitan Opera, Los Angeles Master Chorale, and Pacific Chorale.
