San Clemente, CA – Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, a nonprofit southern California cultural center, invites guests to enjoy the magic of the holiday season at a festive new Casa Lumina Holiday Walk experience this December. Casa Romantica’s outdoor gardens will come to life at night with beautiful illumination displays and over 1,000 twinkling lights, accompanied by live entertainment on select dates.
“Casa Lumina Holiday Walk embodies the joy of this season of thanks and giving in a safe environment,” says Executive Director Amy Behrens. “Casa Romantica’s mission is to provide exceptional programs in the arts, history and horticulture that enrich the lives of our community, and we hope that families and people of all ages will feel lighthearted walking through our winter wonderland on the coast.”
In order to provide a safe experience for all of our guests, Casa Romantica has made adaptations in accordance with state and county safety guidelines. Masks are mandatory for all guests while attending the Casa Lumina Holiday Walk. Only the outdoor areas of the property will be open with a one-way path to guide guests through the illuminated garden walk. Capacity is limited each night; Casa Romantica recommends that guests buy tickets in advance on our website or call (949) 498-2139 for reservations.
Refreshments and pre-packaged snacks are available to purchase from our hospitality station, and the Gift Shop is open to shop for unique, beautiful holiday gifts, many of which are created by local artisans.

Casa Romantica also hosts a variety of free arts education programs for children year-round. The institution’s annual Casa Romantica Music Festival and Academy has received critical praise for its comprehensive two-week music studies program in cello, piano, viola, and violin. Casa Romantica also offers a Summer Dance Workshop, a Spring Break Arts Week, various art, literature, and horticulture events to grades K-12, and welcomes over 6,000 children from the Capistrano Unified School District each year for STEAM-based field trips that examine the history of San Clemente and the coastal environment.
