Photography Policy

At Casa Romantica, we encourage visitors to share the beauty of our property and gardens. In general, photography and videography for personal use is allowed such as on social media. Depending on the artist or performer at cultural events or during public hours, their photography policy may vary. Casa Romantica can also be booked for professional and commercial photography sessions.

Visitor rules:

  • Casa Romantica staff and volunteers have the authority to approach and verify the intent of photography/video and to enforce the photography policy
  • No flash photography or videography at all times (unless granted prior permission or book a professional photography session)
  • No removal of flowers or plants from our gardens is permitted at any time
  • All visitors must stay on walkways
  • No trespassing in restricted areas to the public
  • Be mindful of other guests when taking photos

Approved for visitors

  • Equipment allowed: Cameras (including those with removable lenses such as film, DSLR, or mirrorless), smartphones, tablets
  • Personal-use photography, such as for social media
  • Photographs in open areas

    • Not approved for visitors

  • Professional photographers or photoshoots, unless booked with our Private Events team. Did you know? Casa Romantica members receive discounted professional photography rates!
  • Equipment not approved: drones (unless granted prior permission), external camera/lighting equipment such as off-camera lights/flashes, tripods/monopods
  • Photography of restricted areas off-limits to the public
  • Wardrobe changes
