San Clemente, CA – Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, a nonprofit southern California cultural center, invites guests to enjoy the magic of the holiday season with festive events through the month of December.
“Despite the limitations during last year’s holiday season, guests from all over southern California were able to experience the magic of the holidays at Casa Romantica,” says Executive Director Amy Behrens. “The ability to safely bring joy to the community despite any challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic is our way of making the world brighter.”

Casa Lumina Holiday Walk
Select nights from December 1-22, 2021 @ 5-7 PM nightly | General $12; Casa Romantica Members $8; FREE for children ages 12 and under
Description: Back by popular demand, Casa Romantica’s house and gardens come to life at night with beautiful illumination displays. Twinkling lights illuminating the historic seaside landmark will be accompanied by live entertainment from local community groups, a hot cocoa bar, and crafts for children on select dates. Casa Nutcracker
December 9-10, 2021 @ 7 PM nightly | General $40; Casa Romantica Members $30
Description: A yearly tradition for the whole family! This holiday classic performed by the Orange County Ballet Theater features choreography tailored to Casa Romantica’s intimate Main Salon theater with a runtime of an hour and twenty minutes.
Cookie Decorating with Mrs. Claus (ages 12 and under)

Description: Decorate cookies with Mrs. Claus herself! All materials included, please only pay admission for children that are attending the workshop. Suitable for ages 12 and under.

The 2020-21 Casa Captivating season includes an expanded dance (Casa Kinetic), theater (Casa Theater), and concert series (Casa Vibes), visual and performing arts commissions, and an expanded Casa Kids education program.
Casa Romantica also hosts a variety of free arts education programs for children year-round. The institution’s annual Casa Romantica Music Festival and Academy has received critical praise for its comprehensive two-week music studies program in cello, piano, viola, and violin. Casa Romantica also offers a Summer Dance Workshop, a Spring Break Arts Week, various art, literature, and horticulture events to grades K-12, and welcomes over 6,000 children from the Capistrano Unified School District each year for STEAM-based field trips that examine the history of San Clemente and the coastal environment.
Mission Statement: Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization and is the historic home of the founder of the City of San Clemente. Casa Romantica provides programs for all ages in arts, music, history, and horticulture and is a premier Southern California cultural center.
