San Clemente, CA – Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, a nonprofit southern California cultural center, is pleased to announce that the institution has received a $3,000 donation from Coral Thrift Shop, an all-volunteer-run thrift shop located in San Clemente, CA. The donation will support Casa Kids educational programming for youth ages 0-18 in the 2020 season at Casa Romantica, and secure a commemorative seat in Casa Romantica’s Amphitheater by the Sea.
Coral Thrift Shop Board members Jamie Kalama and Maxine Augusta presented two checks in person on Wednesday, November 20 to Casa Romantica Executive Director Amy Behrens and Board of Directors President Ruth DeNault.
Casa Romantica Executive Director Amy Behrens said of the donation: “Coral Thrift Shop’s humble purpose has given impressive opportunities to the youth of San Clemente for over 50 years. Casa Romantica is very fortunate to have the friendship of these remarkable volunteers to help us make arts education accessible for every child who walks through our keyhole door.”
