San Clemente, CA – Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, a nonprofit southern California cultural center, is offering patrons a unique musical experience: the chance to experience live performances of the symphonies of Viennese composers Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) and Franz Schubert (1797-1828) with seating ‘in the round.’
Though the two composers are not often paired together, an evening spent with their symphonies sheds light on the surprising connections between their styles, as well as their remarkable gift for graceful melodic invention.
The Orchestra Collective of Orange County, Orange County’s only collaboratively governed orchestra, returns to Casa Romantica for its second Casa Captivating season in a row to perform the concert. Guests will be seated around approximately 25 of the Orchestra’s musicians in Casa Romantica’s historic Main Salon.
In addition to general admission tickets ($30; member price $25), Casa Romantica will offer a limited number of $1 concert tickets for children ages 6-16. This offer is central to Casa Romantica’s mission of making arts and culture accessible for people of all ages and removes a barrier for parents or guardians interested in exposing their child to classical music in a concert-going experience.
The Casa Classic series is sponsored by Fluidmaster.
