San Clemente, CA – Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, an award-winning nonprofit cultural center in Southern California, celebrates the return of its popular Casa Classic music series, underwritten by orange County-based corporation Fluidmaster. On Thursday, November 19, 2020 award-winning Spanish pianist Régulo Martínez-Antón will perform selected works for solo piano composed by Beethoven, Liszt, and Schumann, as well as traditional music from Spain.
Reviewing his performance of Tchaikovsky’s ‘Piano Trio in A Minor, Op. 50, L.A. Times’ Victoria Looseleaf reported:
“With Martínez-Antón’s closing piano notes barely audible, this was a fine ending to a daring, most sublime, journey.”
This evening of classical music will be held in Casa Romantica’s Main Salon, a venue inside the historic estate that is ideally suited for chamber music and solo concertos. In compliance with the orders and guidelines from the California Department of Public Health, the event has limited capacity to ensure that seating will be physically distanced by household. Guests will have their temperature screened upon arrival, and masks will be required at all times.
“The safety of our guests, team, and performing artists are Casa Romantica’s top priority,” says Executive Director Amy Behrens. “We are proud to be a leader among other cultural institutions by adhering to rigorous health and safety protocols so our audiences can continue to enjoy our mission-focused high-caliber music programs.”
