As we finish out the 2017 wedding season at Casa Romantica, we can’t help but look back at all of the incredible memories we’ve experienced in the last year. All of the “best day ever” and “I do’s” are what keep us looking forward to the next year ahead, and all of the visions that our couples make reality against the backdrop of the Casa’s structures and vistas make each new wedding a delight to behold.
As Southern California’s most exquisite bluff-top estate with spectacular views of the beautiful Pacific and stunning architecture, Casa Romantica provides the perfect venue for all kinds of weddings. We want to take a moment to share with you some of our favorite moments from this year.
Our first weddings in the spring brought us endless amounts of inspiration. Bright floral arrangements and fun eclectic décor were on-trend and perfectly matched the striking Casa environment.
The weddings that filled our summer weekends were fun and unique, bringing the diverse vision of each couple to life with their special day. One standout event was an LED-themed wedding, complete with a wedding dress and groom’s suit that pulsated with light when the newlyweds (and their guests) pushed a button.
Steve and Lindsay’s wedding was made complete with T-Rex cake toppers and a very special surprise visitor who kept guests entertained for hours…
There were also blooming gardens and show stopping sunsets.
Casa Romantica also showcased an incredible art exhibit featuring over 8,000 live blooms by London-based artist Rebecca Louise Law, which starred in many wedding photos.
As summer turned to fall, the weather cooled and the shorter days created the perfect ambience for dining “al-fresco” in our courtyard. We loved seeing the deep jewel-tone bouquets and décor matching the changing foliage around Casa Romantica.
While some couples might be wary of planning a winter wedding, we can’t think of a better place to get cozy with your guests than our beautiful Main Salon. Winter weather brought us the prettiest indoor tablescapes and whimsical décor. It was the perfect opportunity to use as much silver and sparkle as couples could want! We were inspired by a couple who incorporated metallic antlers into their décor as an homage to their love for winter and the outdoors.
Despite hosting a grand variety of weddings every year, it feels like each one is completely different than all the others before it. That is Casa Romantica’s most striking characteristic: a completely one-of-a-kind venue that perfectly suits the dream vision of each couple, whatever that dream may be.
