Dani and Adam’s love story began ten years ago as sophomores at the University of Arizona. The pair exchanged phone numbers at a pool party, and Dani recounts that the pair were inseparable ever since.
Graduation and employment changes eventually led them to Orange County. Adam and Dani frequently spent their evenings strolling Newport Back Bay. One evening, after a romantic boat ride in the bay, Adam proposed.
Dani had discovered Casa Romantica years before when her job assigned her the city of San Clemente as her sales territory.
“I fell in love with the village on the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean and knew that one day I would want to get married in this beautiful neighborhood,” she explained.
After her engagement, a co-worker recommended she take a tour of Casa Romantica as a potential wedding venue. After seeing the grounds in person, Dani and Adam both knew that it was exactly what they were looking for: “an intimate, romantic, private venue on the Pacific Ocean,” in Dani’s own words.
They chose a warm, sunny day in August. From bright purple and green florals to a five-star meal provided by 24 Carrots, every detail of their wedding was a reflection of the way this incredible couple lives: bright, vibrant, and full of love. The most important thing for them on their big day was family. Adam’s father officiated the ceremony, and Dani’s grandparents filled the roles of ring bearers.
One of their favorite moments was their first dance to “The Way You Look Tonight” by Michael Bublé. Dani has always loved to dance, and as a gift to her, Adam signed them up for dance classes to learn a fully choreographed dance. Their dance had symbolic importance in signifying their partnership and togetherness in everything that they do.
“When you ballroom dance, it is about being one and moving as one, and that is exactly what we did and how we plan on spending the rest of our lives together,” observes Dani.
When asked why Casa Romantica was the perfect place for them, Dani replied,
“It was the perfect place for us because it was a private and intimate setting with rich and beautiful San Clemente history. The romantic grounds allowed us to have our dream wedding over the cliffs of the ocean with all the people we love and care for.”
